Triton Showers has been named the winner of Planet Mark’s Employee Engagement award, underscoring the business’ commitment to reducing carbon emissions through its ‘Sustainability Six’ programme.
Established in April 2023, the shower manufacturer’s programme outlines six initiatives, with each one addressing a sizeable aspect of the manufacturer’s baseline carbon footprint, as part of its long-term ambition to reach Net Zero by 2035.
Over 40 of Triton’s employees – including its sustainability manager, individual project team leaders, board-level project sponsors, and wider team members – form a cross-functional team tasked with delivering its sustainability projects. Initiatives comprise adopting a gas-free site, fuel-free fleet, circular products, use phase optimisation, Net Zero components, and sustainable packaging.
In line with the company’s values of inspiring enterprise and promoting sustainability, the initiative aims to encourage creative solutions to meet its targets. As a result, all projects have since resulted in a reduction of CO2e, with some significantly exceeding initial goals.

Earlier this year, Triton was presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its commitment to sustainable development. Triton is one of only 29 organisations to be recognised nationally for this category, and its Sustainability Six initiatives were a major contributing factor to the award.
