Protein Works achieves record-breaking Black Friday sales after relocating to its new £10m+ facility.

The north-west-based business sold over 1.18 million shakes (+54% YOY) on Black Friday alone (28 November), resulting in a +35% sales increase year-on-year and setting a new single-day revenue record for the company.

Demand soared as Protein Works customers stocked up on their popular shakes, particularly their flagship Whey 360, Vegan Protein 360, Diet Meal 360 and Complete Meal 360 ranges.

The brand’s latest wellness offering also saw spikes with huge increases in sales of its hydration product, Genesis, the Collagen 360 range, and complete Greens shakes like “All In” A.I Greens. Combined, these sales rose by +89% vs the prior year.

The go-to lifestyle nutrition brand, which currently sells its products exclusively online, attributed its stellar performance to the opening of its new state-of-the-art, vertically integrated +£10m facility.

Laura Keir, CEO at Protein Works, said:

Black Friday is one of the most demanding moments in ecommerce and retail, and this year our team delivered a record-breaking performance. Our new fulfilment facility has proven its capability to operate e-commerce at true scale, enabling us to ship more units in a single day than at any other point in our history, while maintaining a seamless, friction-free experience for our customers. This investment was designed to power the next chapter of Protein Works’ growth, and this day and weekend mark its first major milestone. I’m immensely proud of the team and excited by what this platform unlocks for the future.

Protein Works’ new state-of-the-art facility in Speke opened in May and represents a +£10m investment in the future of the brand, highlighting its track record for scaling revenue and profits.

Featuring entire HQ teams, along with advanced manufacturing equipment, expanded warehousing, and upgraded fulfilment capabilities to support faster delivery and greater innovation, PW Campus serves as the hub to facilitate Protein Works’ ambitious growth targets and mainstream domination.
