Measom Freer has demonstrated its commitment to quality UK manufacturing by ensuring its injection moulding machines receive expert maintenance and recalibration from ARBURG service engineers.
ARBURG engineers visited Measom Freer’s factory in Leicester to carry out comprehensive maintenance on its injection moulding machines.
As part of the weeklong process, service engineers carried out recalibration and preventative maintenance on all ARBURG machines. This approach ensures operational capability is tested at regular intervals, maintaining the machine’s precision and overall capability.
The benefit of regular servicing means that machines are operating at peak performance, delivering high quality products and keeping lead times low due to reduced machine downtime. Energy efficient machines with fast cycle times also help to keep costs down.
Supplying Measom Freer with injection moulding machines for decades, ARBURG is a third generation, family-run German company known worldwide for its high-end plastic injection moulding machines.
Measom Freer production manager Ben Freer said: “We understand that our injection moulding machines are at the heart of our business and maintaining them isn’t just good practice—it’s essential to delivering the quality and reliability our customers depend on.
“The recent servicing by ARBURG engineers ensures our machines continue to operate at peak performance, which results in consistent product quality and shorter lead times for our clients. This is a significant investment in our operational excellence and in our commitment to UK manufacturing.”
ARBURG after sales manager Alexander Gall added: “We’re proud of our long-standing relationship with Measom Freer and their dedication to maintaining their equipment to such high standards.
“Regular professional servicing keeps machines running efficiently, reduces unexpected downtime, and helps our customers deliver the quality and reliability their own customers expect.
“The importance of servicing machinery cannot be understated. Just as everyone services their cars, the same principle applies to manufacturing machines—regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance and longevity.”
