The founder of manufacturing and engineering marketing specialists, Full Mix Marketing, has won the Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year award (East of England) at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2024.

Dubbed ‘The Grammys of Entrepreneurship’, Sarah West won the award for her innovative choice to focus on delivering marketing to manufacturers, engineers and other organisations who work business-to-business (B2B).

“When we began in 2017, I could see that companies involved in manufacturing, industry, technology, logistics and more felt most marketing agencies didn’t understand their sectors – so we’ve made it our mission!” says Sarah.

Full Mix Marketings founder and managing director, Sarah, was announced as the winner at a prestigious event held in front of over 1,200 business people at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, on 18th November.

Sarah is keen to dedicate the award to the entire Full Mix Marketing team:GBEA2024 Sarah West 2

“This award is such an honour and, though it’s in my name, it’s a win for our entire team! We’ve grown to become a leading B2B marketing agency through my colleagues’ hard work in truly understanding what our clients do and creating marketing which powerfully communicates it” says Sarah.

Now celebrating its twelfth year, past winners of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards have included Karen Barrett, founder of financial advice website Unbiased, Johnny Paterson, founder of beauty brand Dr Paw Paw, and James Watt, founder of pub chain and beer brand BrewDog.

The awards seek to shine a spotlight on individuals and businesses driving innovation, creating jobs and shaping the future of the UK economy.

Francesca James, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, commented:

“The Great British Entrepreneur Awards receive thousands of applications annually, reflecting the incredible strength of entrepreneurship across the UK. These extraordinary individuals are not only transforming industries but also uplifting communities and inspiring the next generation of business leaders.”

Today, Full Mix Marketing has a team of nine marketing experts, with plans to expand in early 2025 to meet rising demand from companies in manufacturing, engineering and technology from across the UK.

The agency currently provides marketing to over 30 companies, from Newcastle to Bognor Regis, in sectors including electronics manufacturing, geotechnical engineering, horticultural technology, lorry tension curtains and medical lasers.

“It’s lovely to be recognised for the choice we made to support businesses who deliver British manufacturing and engineering. Though we’re proud to be from East Anglia, we’re even prouder that companies from across the UK now trust us for our specialist experience and expertise” concludes Sarah.

Full Mix Marketing can deliver all elements of digital, non-digital, strategic and creative marketing and often act as their clients’ entire marketing department.
